Despite him believing so, he's not subtle in the slightest when the topic of pet companionship starts up. It was difficult, despite speaking with him several times a day, to be gone for too long. Reconnecting with her family wasn't as easy as was first intended, her mother proved to be very unforgiving in nature.

So she had the rather bright idea to dress up as a cat for him. Well, kind of. It's ridiculous trying to find a cat costume in February... Then again, if she's going to dress as a cat to help him be less lonely, this wasn't necessarily a bad choice. As it was, she had been lounging on the couch when she heard the keys in the door.
